R-Xscape Takes Its First Steps at the Erasmus+ KA220 Conference in Madrid👣💡
On 27 and 28 May, Fondo Formación Euskadi, coordinator of the R-Xscape project, took part in the Follow-up Conference for Cooperation Partnerships (KA220) – 2024 Call for Proposals, organised by the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE) in Madrid.
The event brought together coordinators and representatives of newly approved Erasmus+ KA220 projects from different education sectors, creating a valuable space for guidance, exchange and collaboration at the beginning of the project implementation journey.

Objective
The main objective of the conference was to support the successful launch and development of Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships approved under the 2024 call. Through technical sessions and practical guidance, participants gained a clearer understanding of the requirements, procedures and expectations linked to project implementation.
For R-Xscape, this was an important opportunity to strengthen the project’s foundations from the start and ensure that its activities are aligned with Erasmus+ quality standards.
Key topics addressed
Over the two-day event, participants explored several essential aspects of Erasmus+ project management, including administrative and financial procedures, progress reporting, dissemination of results, reporting obligations and the tools available to support effective project coordination.
The sessions also provided useful recommendations from the National Agency, helping project coordinators better prepare for the different stages of implementation planned for the coming years.
Main outcomes for R-Xscape
Participation in the conference provided Fondo Formación Euskadi with valuable insights to guide the implementation of R-Xscape. The knowledge gained will support the coordination of future activities, the management of reporting processes and the dissemination of project results.
The event also offered an opportunity to exchange experiences with other European project teams, identify good practices and build connections with organisations working across school education, vocational education and training, higher education and adult education.
What´s Next?📢
Following this conference, the R-Xscape consortium will continue working on the development of its planned activities, with a focus on bringing research competences to life through immersive, challenge-based and practical learning experiences.
