Coordinator

FFE is a non formal VET center whose mission is the development of people and improvement of organizations. FFE is located in the Basque Country, with more than 30 years of experience in occupational and continuous vocational training for employees and unemployed,  people at risk of social exclusion; consultancy and advisory to companies; management by competences and employment training plans (most of them focused on disadvantaged groups, such as immigrants, disabled people, women, long term unemployed…); local development projects; professional guidance and advisory and support to learning. FFE also managed several regional and European projects for the research, development and innovation in the improvement of competences, aiming at improving competences of people in general and specific target groups in particular; reducing the mismatch among the training offer provided by VET  institutions and skills required by companies and improve the knowledge about  apprenticeship among VET centers and companies.

EPRALIMA is situated in the small picturesque town of Arcos de Valdevez, Portugal, conveniently situated between the cities of Oporto and Vigo (Spain) and close to the coastal towns of the Atlantic Ocean. Epralima is a cooperative organization, composed by institutions deeply solidified within the social, economic, cultural and local levels, namely, the municipalities of Arcos de Valdevez and Ponte da Barca, the Northwestern Agricultural Mutual Credit Bank, the Commercial and Industrial Association of Arcos de Valdevez and Ponte da Barca, Artelima_Alto Lima’s Academy of Arts and the Arcuense Heritage Study Group.Epralima has based its developmental strategy on preparing youths and adults for the exercise of qualified professions, by developing mechanisms that create closer ties between the school and economic institutions, as well as professional and cultural associations within the social tissue, in the name of achieving an integrated and qualified entrepreneurial training project, which meets the integrated developmental needs of the country, particularly at the regional and local levels.

The Székely Károly Technological School was founded 1982 and kept its mission through time: giving young people of the city and the region professional training. This training includes qualifications as mechanics, electro mechanics, electronics and automatics, electrics. The study forms are technical high school – direct and progressive route, evening school, professional school and technical adult education. The pupils are aged 14-19 in the school field and 19+ in adult education. The mission of the school is to offer training and education of the best quality that forms the pupils for their future career and for lifelong learning, giving them the chance to become productive members of their community.
